Water Moccasin

My father-in-law found what I believe to be a young water moccasin. We live in Mississippi, so it definitely isn't an unusual snake. But being someone who adores snakes, I just can't bear to have him kill this little guy.

I myself am not experienced with hot's and I think it would be irresponsible for me and my husband to try and keep this snake. But I was wondering if there is anyone I can give him to (an organization or even private person) who can handle it. My husband was bit by a rattler as a child and is very interested in giving him to an organization that develops anti-venom. As common as this snake is, I understand that may not be possible... but that's at the top of our list.

If nothing else, we'll find a very secluded location to release it. We're just concerned about that because of the number of domestic animals and people all around this area.
